Just wanted to thank you for assisting Jill and I with our truck purchase.
I don't know if I told you, but Jill and I have owned a small business for 22 years. We were a distributor of telecom equipment,
which means I was in sales for 22 plus years. So I tend to notice other sales peoples techniques and mannerisms. And
I don't like most sales people because they are too aggressive or somewhat dishonest.
Just some positive feedback for you. I liked dealing with you because you were not pushy, you did not talk down to us
and you treated us with respect. I also like a person with a sense of humor! I had a good idea what I was looking for
before I came in to Dodge, but I really did not think I was going to buy a Dodge. But it had everything I was looking for
except for the longer box and you were cooperated with us in getting some extras in the deal. I'm happy with the truck.
Take this or leave this: After all my years dealing with buyers and selling stuff to companies, the most important
assets to have as a salesperson is, honesty, integrity, humor and treat every customer as though they were your only customer.
I kept many of the same customers for over 20 years because I went to work for them when they needed me, I was honest
with them and never tried to pull the wool over their eyes or fool them.
Just words of advice and I wish you luck and I will recommend you to anyone I know who is looking for a good truck.
"Sales experience at dealership"
When initially looking to purchase a new vehicle, I felt that buying through a " bigger city" dealership would offer more value - due to their larger inventories, etc. However, after doing my research and getting quotes from those other dealers, I decided I'd stop into Waconia Dodge and see if they would be competitive. I had decided I would rather do business close to home - and at a "small town" dealership that would likely offer more personal attention to its customers, but wasn't sure they would be able to be competitive on the most important attribute at the time - price. I couldn't have been more mistaken! Within literally minutes of speaking to one of Waconia Dodge's sales associates, Brett Winebrenner, I was told that they wanted my business and would, at a minimum, meet the quotes I'd already received. Because of this, I was now in a position to choose who I "wanted" to do business with, rather than who I felt I "had" to do business with, based on price. I chose to purchase my vehicle through Waconia Dodge, and was not disappointed with any part of the process. It was so nice to feel your business was appreciated, rather than just another customer passing through. I highly recommend Waconia Dodge for all your vehicle needs. I want to recognize two people in your organization who are the best example of customer service I have encountered in a long time.
I live in Eden Prairie and drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee. When my eighty-year old parents asked me to take them "out in the country for a drive" last Sunday, I naturally decided to take the Jeep. We had lunch in downtown Waconia and got back in the car to head home. I turned the key in the Jeep and the engine would not turn over. Certainly, I was in for a wild afternoon with a broken down car on a Sunday, I thought. I walked into your Waconia Jeep dealership and was greeted by a big smile from Trisha whom I explained my situation. Without hesitation Trisha went into the service department and brought back with her an off duty mechanic by the name of Mike. I am sure Mike had other plans for his Sunday but he was quick to assist and with enthusiasm that I would not have expected. Mike quickly and expertly assessed the problem and had my precious cargo and me on our way in record time.
I felt most fortunate to have broken down in Waconia and to have been rescued by two positive and capable people.

I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that I had a great buying experience at your dealership. Tim Rogers made me feel very comfortable, he was very knowledgeable, patient, and he was great at putting up with my kids. I think he went beyond the call of duty to help entertain my older daughter. I was very impressed that he did not try to sell me just the top models like some dealerships, but was willing to go to whatever level of car fit my price range, whether it was used or new.
